8/27 Update

Hey all.

So many of you read my update yesterday and I appreciate the prayers and kind words. The situation is pretty much the same but we have his doctors saying “no” to surgery for right now. Of course, any of this can change at any moment but they all agreed. The rest of the things, especially his blood pressure, contribute to that decision. They are still monitoring him and we are still in the ICU area. There are talks of him moving into a regular room but definitely will be monitoring him still and praying for everything I mentioned in yesterday’s update.

Updates are tricky because it’s uncomfortable repeating yourself daily and can make you feel like “nothing” or not as much as you would like is happening. We are all thanking the Lord for all the small improvements! Continue praying over the prayer points from the last update post.

I will be heading back to Orlando in the morning and continuing the check-in of course and keep you all in the loop. There’s still a long journey ahead.
