8/28 Update
I made it back home to Orlando. Also, I won’t be sending updates every day since we are in another waiting period, but if anything significant happens, I will update. This has been the best way to communicate versus answering many text messages.
Ishmael is in the same condition as last post, but his kidney doctor said his kidneys are “hanging in there” and no dialysis is needed. He’s pushing out a lot of fluid and that is good. He is still struggling with breathing and sleeping so definitely let’s pray for that to get better. He is still in the ICU being monitored. As of yesterday, a physical therapist comes to see him now to help him start potentially moving. That’s good news! We are hoping he can come from the ICU floor so that he can have a little more freedom. He has really sweet and caring nurses and for that we are grateful.
Thanks for your prayers
Until next time
Demetrius
