It’s been so cool getting into this habit of writing. I thank you each for being a part of this journey with me! You don’t have to take your time and read and even share anything. I’m truly grateful. I wanted to take this post to just share a few things that have been inspiring me lately. I want to have at least one blog a month that shares either songs, books or creatives/people that have been an inspiration to me.
Here’s a list of books that have blessed me lately:
Pray in the Spirit by Arthur Wallis- LISTEN!! This book explains the beauty and challenges of prayer so well!
Adorning the Dark by Andrew Peterson- if you are a creative in any capacity this book is incredibly disarming and encouraging.
Toughest People to love by Chuck Degroat- such a great approach to the great commandment of loving God, ourselves and our neighbor.
The Good Life by Derwin Gray- the Beatitudes is my favorite passage in scripture and this books breaks it down incredibly.
Here’s some musical songs/artist that have blessed me lately:
Jireh & The Story I’ll Tell by Maverick City Music- this ministry has taken the world by storm and I’m glad about it. I was a teenager when the Lord showed me a multi-ethic and multicultural worship team and to see it in the flesh is amazing. Check this team out if you haven’t already.
Rivers album by Deeper Worship- William McDowell recorded his worship team on Sundays and put it on a CD. The best thing about it is they had no idea they were being recorded. The excellence and anointing on this album is awe inspiring.
Lighter by Bradley Wolford - such honest music letting us into the grief of divorce. He has more music coming soon. He’s a great dude.
Remember the Moon by JustCordell- this guy is serious about ministry and the Lord. He’s an extremely talented rapper and artist. Keep an eye on him
Fire & Believe For It by CeCe Winans- this lady is a legend and an influence to me as a worshipper. I’m so glad she’s being received and honored in this season. Listen to her latest album
I have so many more to name but I will practice restraint haha. This is my next to the last blog for the year. I want to yearly take a Sabbath in my writing.
