Will you join me?
I was reading through the letter, Ephesians, with a couple of friends from church and we all were overwhelmed at the mercy of our LORD. As we read through I really begin to see Paul’s prayers for the church. It was that we have this real “apocalypse” which is a revelation of the person of Jesus. There are so many prayer points in that letter but wanted to extract a few and I ask that you would join me to pray for the Church at large. I am often encouraged by the “we-ness” of the scriptures and long to see that truly across all cultures in Jesus’s bride. There are seven prayer points I extracted so you can take one a day or pray them all daily.
Prayer points for this week:
The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him
The eyes of our hearts be enlightened so that we know the hope of his calling
that we know the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints
that we know the immeasurable greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the mighty working of his strength
that he grant us, according to the riches of HIS glory, to be strengthened with power in our inner being through his Spirit
that Christ dwell in our hearts through Faith
that we being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.
There is still hope in Jesus Christ. His plan has always been that his people would model his Kingdom on this earth. I am praying and hope that you all would join me.
P.S. I am going to change my rhythm of posting to Mondays versus Fridays.
Until next time
